Regarding
2002, digital, 4.22 minutes, black and white, original footage 16mm.
Adapted and Directed by Phillip Barker

The camera, the instrument of grand illusions and other lies that we relentlessly and uselessly love to pursue! Commissioned by The Toronto Arts Awards for the recipient Rhombus Films, the film uses dialogue and resampled music from scene #50 of their film Red Violin (François Girard).

Originally shot on 16mm in 2002.
